Marcel Woudstra
Marcel Woudstra is a self-taught photographer from the Netherlands. He is especially fascinated by urban exploration photography. He travels all over the world to capture the beauty of abandoned and decayed places completely lost and forgotten to humanities attention for years or even decades. From castles and churches filled with an amazing history up to even completely industrial sites. These places are always prohibited for public access. Although this has never stopped his curiosity for going on another adventure never knowing what he might discover next.
He has a particular fondness for symmetrical images with a large depth of field. Capturing these pictures he uses a HDR technique which stand for high dynamic range. By doing so he captures multiple images in different light spectrums from the brightest light to the darkest shadows and combines those in advanced post-processing into one final photograph.
